Checks
Redwood Credit Union ATM’s can accept 10 checks at a time. The checks should be facing the same direction and be free of folds and creases.
Cash
Up to 30 bills of any denomination at a time can be accepted. The bills should also be facing the same direction and be free of folds and creases.
Please note 7-Eleven ATMs no longer offer deposit functionality.
Redwood Credit Union ATM’s will only accept cash (bills not coin) or check deposits. If you need to deposit coin please visit your nearest branch location for assistance.
-
If the ATM credits your account for the incorrect amount for a cash deposit you will need to contact our Member Service Center for assistance in completing an ATM dispute. You can reach RCU’s Member Service Center at 1 (800) 479-7928. You may also visit your nearest branch location for assistance.
-
Redwood Credit Union allows you to withdraw up to $800 per day from the ATM.
Members can temporarily increase their ATM withdrawal limit up to $2,500 through mobile or online banking.
Limits above $800.00 are good for three days, limits below $800.00 are permanent until changed. Increases to your boost limit may only be set once every 5 days and will remain at that limit for 3 days before returning to your normal limit.
For increases above $2,500, please call our Member Service Center at 1 (800) 479-7928.
Please note that some ATMs may have a dispensing limit not associated with your daily limit. If that is the case, multiple transactions may have to be made in order to withdrawal your desired amount.
-
Cash deposits are made available immediately. Through Instant Deposit Access, RCU seeks to make as much of your ATM deposit immediately available to you as possible. If a portion of your ATM deposit is not immediately available, it will become available on the first business day after the business day the deposit was made. For example:
- Deposit made on Wednesday: the deposit will be available on Thursday.
- Deposit made on Saturday (a non-business day): the deposit will be available on Tuesday.
How to check your account’s Instant Deposit Access (IDA) limit
- Log into digital banking on the mobile app
- Select “Deposit” from the menu
- Under “Deposit to”, select the account you wish to examine
- The Instant Deposit Access limit will be displayed underneath the “Deposit” button
As with checks deposited in person at RCU branches, in some circumstances, the hold period can be extended. If this occurs, you will be notified by mail.
There is no dollar limit on deposits via cash or check at our ATMs.
-
That’s not a problem! Use a non-RCU ATM and we’ll reimburse you, up to 4 times per month!**
-
If you move out of the area, you can still use Co-op ATMs just as you would an RCU ATM. And because RCU’s online and mobile banking services are expansive, you can take along your trusted financial partner wherever you go.
-
You sure can! If one of the logos on the ATM matches the back of your card, that’s an ATM in our network, and you can use it. Learn more.

PPP Forgiveness Application Deadline
Congress passed The Economic Aid Act which changed the deferment period from 6 months post covered period to 10 months post covered period. For example, if your covered period ended June 30, 2021, under the new guidelines the earliest your first loan payment wouldn’t be due until April 2022, and you have until then to request forgiveness. Please use the following calculation to help you identify when your forgiveness will be due:
- PPP borrowers may select a covered period anywhere from 8 weeks to 24 weeks.
- RCU is automatically calculating your loan due date based on a 24-week covered period, if you intend on using a shorter covered period please inform us immediately as this will impact your due date.
- Your correct deadline will be reflected in your online banking account.
If all or part of your PPP loan is not forgiven, your first loan payment will be due the first of the following month after a decision is made by the SBA.
