Current Text Scam Alert

We have learned of a text message scam claiming to be from Redwood Credit Union. This message is not from us. Redwood Credit Union will never ask for your card number or personal data. We will not ask for your username or password and we will never call to verify by security code.

This is a fraudulent attempt to gain access to your account. Do not provide any account or card information. If you have provided your account information, please contact us directly at 1 (800) 479-7928 to speak with a Member Service Representative. You can also close your card by logging into your RCU online banking account and visiting the Manage Cards menu. If you receive this type of text, please forward it to us at fraud@redwoodcu.org.

Please be assured that Redwood Credit Union's systems are safe, and we would not request account information via text, phone, or email. Scammers often send mass messages using the name of a specific financial institution in the hopes that people who bank there will fall for the scam.
