Why do I need to choose a security word for RCUpay?
Mobile
If you're using a mobile device, follow the steps below. For computers, go to the desktop steps
When sending money using RCUpay, you must select a security word as part of the transaction.
Your security word provides extra protection when you send money to friends and family, by ensuring you are sending money to the right person.
Once you select a security word, you will need to provide it to the recipient so they can retrieve the money you sent.
If you forget the security word you chose, tap Move Money, select RCUpay, and tap the Pending tab to review the details of your RCUpay transaction.
If your recipient did not receive notification, of your payment, you can resend the RCUpay notifications by selecting "Resend text" or “Resend email,” based on the information you used to enter your recipient (see example to the right). You will only be able to resend a text or email if the status is pending. Once the transaction is complete, resend is not available.
