Registration Renewals
Renew your vehicle registration.
We can only renew California registrations at this time.
Replacement Registration Credentials
Obtain a replacement registration card and/or stickers for California registrations that have been lost, stolen, or not received.
Address Change
Change your California address with California DMV on your registration card (for registration and titles only, not available for driver’s licenses).
VIN Verification
Vehicle verification done by a licensed verifier, used for California title corrections or out-of-state title transfers.
Duplicate California Title
Order a duplicate for California titles that have been lost, stolen, or not received.
California Title Transfer of Ownership
Change registered owner(s) on California title and registration due to a private party sale, family transfer, or gift transfer.

Method of payment
Your Redwood Credit Union account is the preferred method of payment for RCU DMV services. We also accept credit cards however a 3.5% surcharge will be assessed.
We cannot accept cash. -
Fees
California Title Transfer of Ownerships will be charged a $12.50 processing fee.
Registration renewals, replacement credentials, address changes, and duplicate titles will be charged a $10.20 processing fee. -
Services not available at RCU
Some services must be handled with California DMV directly.

DMV services may be provided through RCU’s partner, Dealertrack or by RCU directly. Please note RCU is not owned, operated, or governed by the CA DMV.

PPP Forgiveness Application Deadline
Congress passed The Economic Aid Act which changed the deferment period from 6 months post covered period to 10 months post covered period. For example, if your covered period ended June 30, 2021, under the new guidelines the earliest your first loan payment wouldn’t be due until April 2022, and you have until then to request forgiveness. Please use the following calculation to help you identify when your forgiveness will be due:
- PPP borrowers may select a covered period anywhere from 8 weeks to 24 weeks.
- RCU is automatically calculating your loan due date based on a 24-week covered period, if you intend on using a shorter covered period please inform us immediately as this will impact your due date.
- Your correct deadline will be reflected in your online banking account.
If all or part of your PPP loan is not forgiven, your first loan payment will be due the first of the following month after a decision is made by the SBA.
