Adding a joint owner to your account
Occasionally, life changes may mean you want to add joint owners to your account. The owners you name on your RCU account define who has access to your account information and funds. To add a joint owner to your existing account, please follow the steps below.
- Please have all Members currently on the account complete and sign the Membership Application with an original signature (not photocopied), along with any new Member(s) to be added to the account.
- Provide a clear and legible copy of the new Member’s current identification. RCU will accept the following forms of identification: state-issued driver’s license, state-issued ID card, Passport (U.S. or foreign), or Military ID.
Return the completed documents in person to your closest RCU branch, by mail, or by expedited courier – see details below. We are unable to accept these documents by email or fax.
We will complete your request promptly once it is received.
