What services are not available at the RCU DMV Services counter?

The following services must be handled with California DMV directly. Please make an appointment with the California DMV by calling 800-777-0133 or visiting dmv.ca.gov.*

  • All Driver's License related transactions
  • Permit and license tests
  • Smog check
  • Dealer transfers
  • Out of state title transfers
  • New personalized license plates
  • Real ID
  • One-way-trip permits
  • Temporary operating permits
  • Disabled license plates or placards
  • Vehicle safety inspections
  • Correctable violation (fix-it ticket) signoff
  • Salvage certificate
  • Original/new vehicle transactions of any type
  • Out-of-country vehicle (grey market) conversion
  • Print out driver history reports
