You can pay with a Mastercard, Discover, or Visa debit card from a bank or credit union.
What types of loans can I pay using a debit card?
- Auto loans
- RV loans (including motorcycle, trailers and boat loans)
- Personal loans
- HELOC (not including interest-only HELOCs)
Mobile
If you're using a mobile device, follow the steps below. For computers, go to the desktop steps
Select Move Money.
Select Pay a loan with a Debit Card.
Review and accept the terms.
Select the Loan Account you want to pay.
Enter the Amount you want to pay.
Fill in Debit Card Details and Billing Address.
Tap Review.
Confirm your payment request is correct, check the box to agree to the $5.00 fee , and tap Submit to complete the transaction.
Desktop
If you're using a computer, follow the steps below. For mobile devices, go to the mobile steps
From the top menu, select Move Money.
From the left menu, select Pay a loan with a Debit Card.
Review and accept the terms.
Select the Loan Account you want to pay.
Enter the Amount you want to pay.
Fill in Debit Card Details and Billing Address.
Click Review.
Confirm your payment request is correct, check the box to agree to the $5.00 fee , and tap Submit to complete the transaction.

Q. If I use my RCU debit card to pay my loan do I get reward points?
A. Using your RCU debit card is an internal loan payment transfer and does not qualify for rewards points.
Q. Are the payments processed right away?
A. Loan payments are immediate.
Q. Can I schedule a card payment?
A. Debit card payments are immediate and can’t be scheduled. If you want to schedule a payment, use the external transfer loan payment option.
Q. Can I set-up a recurring debit card loan payment?
A. Debit card payments are one-time payments. If you would like to set up recurring payments, use the external transfer loan payment option.
Q. What if I enter my information incorrectly?
A. An error message will identify the incorrect information and request that it be reentered. For example, if you entered an incorrect expiration date, you will be prompted to reenter the expiration date. Other examples include an invalid security code, invalid card number, or incorrect name.
Q. What happens if the payment does not go through?
A. There may be instances in which the payment cannot be processed. If the payment doesn’t go through, you will see an error message: We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience.
